Unity+™ Line-Driver

The Compatt/X™ Unity+™ is a unity gain signal amplifier and line-driver. It will strengthen and prepare a pedalboard's output signal for any length of cable or load that follows in a rig.

The Compatt/X Unity+™ is a unity gain signal amplifier. It'll strengthen and prepare a pedalboard's output signal for any length of cable or load that follows in a rig.

The circuit features a brand new audio specified op-amp, high headroom, a standard unbalanced or balanced output, and 15 user selectable filters.

Use the Unity+™ as a pedalboard's output line-driver, after the last pedal, to drive the long cable run to a back-line amplifier. It can drive very low input impedance loads (as low as 600 ohms) and has superb capacitance drive capabilities — which means extra long lengths of cable or daisy-chained passive or isolated splitters such as our IsoPlus™ or IsoFormer™ series will never be an issue.

For extra long cable runs between a pedalboard and a back-line amp, with extraordinary noise immunity, use a balanced ¼" TRS cable (up to 330ft./100m long) between the Unity+ and either an IsoFormer™ UNO or RCV, or a IsoPlus™ (immediately in front of the amp).

It can also be used to buffer an amp’s passive effects loop or to improve the load drive capability of an active effects loop. Even use it as an input buffer and/or take advantage of its 15 filters.

• Power Requirements: 9VDC & 100mA via a 2.1 x 5.5mm barrel plug with a negative centre pin (like Boss pedals). Adapter is not included.
