Designed and hand-built (by Mario) in Canada.

The Compatt/O™ is an op-amp buffer, based on the Axess Electronics BS2 Buffer/Splitter that was used by Eddie Van Halen, tweaked to our 2022-2023 specifications.

Made with NOS parts, so when we run out, that's it!

Use a Compatt/O™ as an input buffer by plugging your guitar directly into it. It will safeguard, strengthen, and prepare your guitar signal for whatever will follow on the pedalboard and in the rig.

Use a Compatt/O™ as a pedalboard's output line-driver, after the last pedal, to drive the long cable run to the back-line amp.

For the benefits of buffers, see our FAQ page.
