Flex Loop™ Interface
Designed and hand-built (by Mario) in Canada.
Formerly called the Face First™ Fuzz Interface.
The Flex Loop™ is a single loop switcher featuring a shifting version of our Class-A input buffer. The design's "flex" allows it to be used as an input buffer, and tuner mute or true bypass effects looper, and when a germanium fuzz pedal is connected to the loop and it is on, the buffer's position is shifted to after the fuzz and loop. Consistent — tone — starts here.
The discrete Class-A buffer has an input impedance and other finely tuned characteristics which mimic that of tube amplifier inputs. It'll safeguard, strengthen, and prepare your guitar and fuzz signal for whatever follows on a pedalboard and in a rig.
The buffer presents the guitar and fuzz with a dynamic and ideal load that remains steadfast — resulting in consistent tone while still allowing the guitar and fuzz to breathe and feel, as if they're plugged directly into the front of a beloved tube amplifier.
The "Remote" version is in a low profile enclosure and can be mounted on or under any pedalboard. It's controlled via ¼" TS function switching jack, found on most MIDI switchers and MIDI controllers, and remote foot-switches.
